Welcome to Edit Core. By accessing and using our PDF tools and services ("Services"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our Services.

Edit Core reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. Your continued use of the Services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

Edit Core provides online PDF manipulation and editing tools, including but not limited to:

  • PDF merging, splitting, and organizing
  • PDF compression and optimization
  • Format conversion (PDF to/from various formats)
  • PDF security and password protection
  • Digital signatures and watermarking
  • Cloud storage for processed files

Our free tier includes 50MB of cloud storage. Premium plans with additional features and storage capacity will be available in the future.

3. User Accounts and Registration

While some of our basic tools can be used without registration, certain features require you to create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Edit Core reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Upload, process, or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Violate any intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with the proper functioning of our Services
  • Use automated systems or software to extract data from our Services without permission
  • Upload files containing viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Use our Services for high-volume commercial purposes without an appropriate enterprise agreement

Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of your access to our Services and potential legal action.

5. Privacy and Data Security

Your privacy is important to us. Our data handling practices include:

  • All file uploads and processing are encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols
  • Files processed through our free tools are automatically deleted from our servers within 1 hour
  • Files saved to your cloud storage remain until you delete them or your storage limit is exceeded
  • We do not access, view, or share the content of your files except as required by law
  • We collect minimal personal information necessary to provide our Services

6. Pricing and Payment Terms

Edit Core offers multiple subscription tiers to suit different needs:

  • Free Plan: 50MB storage with access to all PDF tools
  • Basic Plan: $7.50/month - 2GB storage with priority processing and support
  • Pro Plan: $15/month - 10GB storage with batch processing and advanced features
  • Premium Plan: $30/month - 50GB storage with API access and team collaboration

Payment Terms:

  • Subscription fees will be billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access until the end of your billing period
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension until payment is successfully processed

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Edit Core and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all related intellectual property rights. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload and process through our Services. By using our Services, you grant Edit Core a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your files solely for the purpose of providing our Services to you.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services without explicit written permission from Edit Core.

8. Service Availability and Limitations

While we strive to provide reliable service, Edit Core makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation
  • The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content processed through our Services
  • Correction of defects or compatibility with all devices and browsers

Service limitations include:

  • Maximum file size of 100MB per upload
  • Storage limits based on your subscription tier
  • Fair use policies for processing volume to prevent service abuse

We reserve the right to temporarily suspend Services for maintenance, updates, or to address technical issues. We will provide advance notice when possible.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Edit Core shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or delays
  • Errors in file processing or conversion
  • Unauthorized access to your account or files

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your original files. Edit Core is not responsible for any data loss that may occur through use of our Services.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Edit Core, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the Services
  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Any content you upload, process, or share through our Services

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. Edit Core is not responsible for:

  • The content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites
  • The availability or functionality of third-party integrations
  • Any transactions you enter into with third parties

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those third parties' terms and conditions.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or through your account settings. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Services will cease immediately or at the end of your billing period
  • All files stored in your cloud storage will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • No refunds will be provided for unused portions of paid subscriptions

Edit Core reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the Services shall be resolved through:
